The teachers will experience the latest software advancements in Music Technology.

Head of Music Technology at the Conservatorium, Nathan Scott says there is an increasing emphasis on the use of technology in the state's music classrooms.

"Teachers need to be able to experience and be able to work with this technology to keep up with where music is going."

The workshops are a unique collaboration between the University of Newcastle and the NSW Department of Education and Training.
