The University of Newcastle will be holding Information Sessions on Thursday 20 January 2005 to answer questions from prospective University students about University entry in 2005.
The sessions will follow the release of Main Round Offers at 9pm on Wednesday 19 January 2005.
The Information Sessions will provide prospective students with an opportunity to discuss their study options, career prospects and alternate pathways to University.
The University's Student Recruitment, Careers and Employment Manager, Susan Eade, says the Information Sessions are for all prospective students, especially those who may not have received an offer in the Main Round, and need to know about alternative study options.
Prospective students have until Monday 24 January 2005 to change their preferences for inclusion in the Late Round of UAC offers which will be released on Wednesday 2 February 2005.

Ourimbah campus, 1pm - 6pm, Campus Information and Service Centre.
Port Macquarie campus of TAFE NSW – North Coast Institute, 1 - 6pm, B Block.
