About the Sydney CBD location

The University of Newcastle in Sydney is located on Level 11, 60 Bathurst Street in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), comprising purpose-built teaching facilities including 70-seat lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, library and student common and study areas, all serviced by wireless internet coverage.

The Sydney location will offer comprehensive student support services, including on-site teaching and learning support, as well as information technology and Library staff.

Access to UoN Sydney CBD

The University of Newcastle in Sydney is situated within a secure office block.
Direct access to the campus requires the use of a proximity card (issued to students and staff in Sydney only).

UON students or staff who have not been issued with a proximity card can visit the library during business hours by using the Bathurst St entrance for access to level 11 & Level 12.  There is an intercom at the Bathurst St entrance which must be used to gain entrance to the foyer.

If you wish to visit the library outside of business hours (Mon to Fri 9-5) you may do so by appointment only. Please call the library on 82626428 if you wish to make an arrangement.
