Raymond's professional career includes 15 years' experience as an IT Practitioner in the Software Development and Design in a large foreign bank and in a major American organisation. His work scope includes project management, Internet business strategic management solutions, network analysis, planning implementation and development applications covering both hardware and software enterprise solutions.
Raymond is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society and member of Singapore Computer Society, Association for Computing Machinery and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. and Information & Knowledge Management Society.
Raymond has a BSc. (Hons, 2nd Class Upper) in Computing and Information Systems from University of London and M.Bus in Information Technology (with Distinction) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia. Raymond is an experienced lecturer with many years of teaching the tertiary level. Raymond is also a PhD candidate with the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Raymond's forte is in Information Technology and Knowlege Management developement for business and education information systems. He has taught a wide range of subjects at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, such as Management Information Systems, Network Planning, implementation/Enterprise network design & management, Electronic Commerce and Applications Development, Information Systems Programming with C++, Java & Pascal, Systems Analysis and Design, Knowledge Management, Final Year Computing Project, Database Design and Implementation, OOA/OOD/OOP and SSA/SSD, etc.
Raymond's academic research interest covers Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Group Decision Support Systems (GDSS), Electronic Commerce and Strategy and Business Models, E-commerce technologies (e-Government, World Wide Web), E-learning and Technology, E-learning, Technology and Strategies, Web-based collaborative learning and Distance Learning, as well as Knowledge Management.
