Dr Peter Waring has qualifications in commerce, law and management and is Senior Lecturer at UON Singapore where he is also responsible for assisting the Dean with management matters. He has previously held the positions of Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Newcastle, Callaghan Campus and Assistant Professor at UNSW Asia Singapore.

Peter is the co-author of three books including the best selling employment relations text in Australia published by McGraw-Hill. He has also published more than forty refereed book chapters and academic articles in leading international journals such as The Journal of Business Ethics, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Employee Relations, Corporate Governance and Personnel Review. His research and teaching interests span the business and law fields of employment relations and human resource management, corporate governance, strategy and organisational behaviour and employment and labour law. He has also been successful in winning over AUD $300,000 in research grants including an Australian Research Council Discovery grant in 2003. He has lived and worked in Malaysia and Singapore for the past six years.
