Bachelor of Business
The Bachelor of Business, with majors in Marketing and Management as well as in Marketing and Tourism, is one of the most popular and dynamic degrees offered by The University of Newcastle. Bachelor of Commerce
The Bachelor of Commerce, with major in Accounting, is designed for those wishing to pursue a specialised education in Accountancy. This course embodies solid theoretical studies that are complemented with real-world applications. Whilst providing you a general foundation on business studies, there is specific focus in the area of accounting.
Students must complete these professional units, in order to meet the academic requirements for Associate membership of CPA Australia and enrolment in the CPA Program, and for enrolment in the Chartered Accountants Program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. This degree program is offered on a full time basis only.
Bachelor of Communication
The Bachelor of Communication, with majors in Public Relations and Journalism, is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of the theory and the practice of communication in a global environment that is both complex and rapidly changing. You will learn to work creatively and analytically in the communication and cultural industries, and for further study and research in the discipline. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
Electrical engineering is the science of power generation and distribution, signal processing, and analogue and digital electronics. Electrical engineering is crucial to the smooth running of any developed nation and is becoming increasingly vital in countries trying to improve their capacity in the new and emerging technologies.
The Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge that will prepare and equip you for the challenges of the new economy, while meeting requirements for widely accepted electrical engineering qualifications. This degree program is offered on a full time and part time basis.
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
The Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge that will prepare and equip you for the challenges of the new economy, while meeting requirements for widely accepted mechanical engineering qualifications. This degree program is offered on a full time and part time basis.
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics)
Mechatronics engineers specialise in integrated computer controlled mechanical and electrical systems found in the manufacturing and mining industries. They are also employed in electrical plants and companies where automation and process control is required.
Students will complete core courses form the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering. Major studies include control systems, electronic design, mechanical engineering design, mechanics of fluids and solids, and sensors and actuators. This degree program is offered on a part time basis only.
Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety
This is the first bachelor degree program in Singapore and in the region that encompasses both environmental and occupational health and safety (EOHS).
The Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety has been created through the joint efforts of the Schools of Health Sciences, and Environmental and Life Sciences of the University of Newcastle and the PSB Academy in Singapore. The Schools provide the academic content and fundamental theory while the PSB Academy provides the practical application and Asian perspectives via industrial experience and familiarity with the EOHS environment in Singapore. This degree program is offered on a part time basis only.
The program is accredited by Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and is approved by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in its qualifying criteria as a requirement in applying to be a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
Bachelor of Information Technology
The degree provides strong technical foundations blended with an understanding of people, organisations and complex systems.
This program makes extensive use of real-world problems to produce graduates who are technically competent, creative and able to adapt to the workplace. Students are exposed to the use of I.T. in various settings, concentrating on traditional business uses of I.T. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, teamwork, and social and professional responsibility. This degree program is offered on a full time and part time basis.
Master of Business
The 8-course Master of Business builds on the Graduate Certificate and articulates into the Master of Business Administration. In this programme, you extend the skillfocused study and practical work to develop your professional understanding and problem-solving abilities. Depending on your interests, you can choose to study courses in negotiation, economics, marketing, management, leadership, entrepreneurship or international business. This degree program is offered on a full time basis with PSB Academy.
Master of Business Administration
In this program, you will study contemporary principles and standards of critical reasoning and management and develop the skills to operate effectively in the international business community, with cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness. This degree program is offered on a full time basis with PSB Academy.

Bachelor of Construction Management (Building)
The degree programme is conceptualise to be a problem-based learning pedagogy to train students to solove real world challenges, develop holistic understanding construction project environment and a portable life-long learning skills. To offer an accelerated pathway, an advanced standing articulation would be eligible for students with relevant diploma qualifications.
