City Precinct

Although not a campus in the strict sense of the word, we have a significant presence on two sites within the Newcastle CBD. Part of our School of Drama, Fine Art, Music (incorporatng The Conservatorium) is located in the Civic Centre precinct while the Newcastle Legal Centre and the Newcastle Business School Postgraduate are located in University House, a landmark art-deco sandstone building directly opposite Civic Park. It is an ideal location for many of our students who study part-time and who work close by.

The University's medical and nursing programs are based on the Callaghan campus but they also operate out of major clinical, teaching, and research facilities at several hospitals and health centres both within the CBD and in a number of locations within the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
