Chose Newcastle

' I chose Newcastle because it's a beautiful city close to Sydney, but not Sydney. It has fewer distractions and is a great place to study.'

I really liked the problem based learning approach, where you learn by doing rather than by just reading. Very friendly and easily approachable staff are one of the best things about this university and my program.'

Future Studies and Career

' The main reason for studying in Newcastle was to get an exposure to international culture, and being in this university I meet people from many different cultures. At the same time, doing a Master of Advanced Information Technology further enhances my professional skill. So this program helps me improve my professional skills, giving exposure to international culture at the same time.'

Newcastle Life

' Life in Newcastle is great. Friendly people, beautiful beaches and peacefulness are what I enjoy most about being in Newcastle . There is a lot one can do; wonderful sports facilities, lots of clubs and society to join and meet new people, and going out with friends. Meeting some great friends is one of the precious things that I got from the life in Newcastle.'

Are you happy with the support?

' The support system in this university is the best I have seen so far. All the staff members are always ready to help, all I needed is to ask. The Student Support Centre, the first place I arrived at, made my life so much easier from the start that I never felt being in an unknown world.'

' Make your decision based on what's important to you, but all I can say is that this university is full of friendly people, has the best support system, is very beautiful with the bush land setting, has a very relaxed environment and a lot to offer.'
