Chose Newcastle

' I chose Newcastle because of the large number of international students, making it a perfect location to study international business. Also the excellent student facilities, like the library and the NUSport [sport association], and of course, the marvelous beaches.'

' I liked the ‘problem based’ approach of teaching, with many case studies. Also the direct and open interaction with lectures, tutors and service staff, which are always eager to help me with my everyday challenges. '

Future Studies and Career

' I believe that studying at the University of Newcastle will have a positive and lifelong effect on me and my career, because of the practical approach and my improved language skills. Also having friends all over the world will help, so I will never have to stay in a hotel during my holidays. '

Newcastle Life

' What I enjoy most about Newcastle life is the community at my on-campus accommodation in “International House”. Wednesday and Friday night, we all go out. We have outdoor activities like climbing, kayaking and bushwalking with friends from the NU mountaineering club. '
