My enthusiasm within architecture goes beyond contemporary design and building, it is however, charged by the people and places you study/work. The University of Newcastle offers you the ideal chance to study by the beach on the east coast of Australia only a couple of hours from Sydney in an integrated learning environment.

Through a course focused upon aspects such as technical and design components, "problem based learning” drives you to show initiative in research and investigation towards fundamental practice and theory in architecture. The architecture studio facilities create an environment for all five years to work together and allow the opportunity for secure individual work spaces. The studio is highlighted as the centerpiece for interaction between years in academic and social events and facilitates a prime source for inspiration and motivation.

The University of Newcastle has provided me with an enthusiastic atmosphere that has helped me develop skills to react to problems faced in any chosen course of study, and it is through the close working relationship between friends and lecturers that I have been able to
explore my passion for architecture and design.
