Select the program or programs in which you wish to enrol. Then download, print, and complete the appropriate application form (either Undergraduate (PDF 76KB), Postgraduate Coursework (PDF 106KB), Postgraduate Research Higher Degree (PDF 96KB) or Study Abroad (HTML) and attach the necessary documentation.
Send the form to the International Admissions Officer at The University of Newcastle or to a representative office in your home country.

Please note that the University will accept only original or certified documents. Copies must be certified by either an authorised officer of the official records department of the institution that originally issued the document, or by an authorised officer of an Australian overseas diplomatic mission or any Australian Education Centre.
If qualifications were obtained under a former name, please attach your present name to the documents. Certified translations must accompany documents that are not in English.
Evidence of graduate status should indicate that the academic requirements of the course have been completed or that the award has been conferred.
If your application is successful, we will send you a letter offering a place. The letter will also outline the course, any additional conditions you must meet, fees payable, and your course commencement date.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will send you a letter explaining why.
If you need to apply for a preliminary visa, you should take the offer letter with you.
Once the university has received your application and lodged it on the University of Newcastle student system you will receive by email a username and password. You will be able to monitor the progress of your application online.
To accept the offer you must complete the Offer Acceptance and Payment Advice attached to your letter of offer and return it with your payment deposit.
Payment in Australian dollars should be by International Bank Draft made payable to the University of Newcastle. Please write your name in full on the back of the draft.

Upon receipt of your written acceptance of the offer and your International Bank Draft, the University will issue the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) form, which you must present to the Australian Diplomatic Post in order to obtain a student visa to study in Australia.
