You are eligible and encouraged to apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • in 2013 you will are enrolled full-time in your final year of your degree at the University of Newcastle. For applicable degrees please click HERE for more information.

                                                      Management)

These scholarships will ideally suit a student who has lived or completed schooling in the Central Coast area (surrounding suburbs within 50kms) or is currently completing their studies at the Central Coast Campus at Ourimbah.


You are eligible and encouraged to apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • in 2013 you will are enrolled full-time in your penultimate year of your degree at the University of Newcastle.
  • if shortlisted for interview, are available to attend an interview on the Callaghan Campus on week commencing Monday 6h May.

  • if shortlisted for interview, are available to attend an interview on the Callaghan Campus on week commencing Monday 15th April.

You are eligible and encouraged to apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • in 2013 you will are enrolled full-time in your 2nd year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree at the University of Newcastle
  • Students are to have lived or completed schooling in the Dubbo area (surrounding suburbs within 50km). Students are expected to organise their own accommodation whilst on placement.
  • if shortlisted for interview, are available to attend an interview on the Callaghan Campus on week commencing Monday 15th April.

External Scholarship Opportunity

Australian Collaborative Education Network  - 5 x $1,500 All Disciplines:
                                                                          Undergraduate and Postgraduate

The aim of the 2013 ACEN Student Scholarship is to support students who will undertake a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activity in a regional or remote area of Australia* as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate education.

You are eligible and encouraged to apply for this scholarship if you:

  • are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa (if you are shortlisted, you will be required to supply evidence of your citizenship or visa situation)
  • in 2013 you will are enrolled full-time in the final year of your degree at the University of Newcastle
