Visual Communication Design Exhibition 2011

Exhibition opened by Dr. Anne Llewellyn, Head of School, Design, Communication and IT, University of Newcastle and Jane Shadbolt, Lecturer, University of Newcastle, at 6.30 pm Thursday 17 November.
The 2011 graduating students from the Visual Communication Design degree at the University of Newcastle are showcasing their work from a diverse range of design disciplines at Watt Space Gallery from Wednesday 16th November until 3rd December. This exhibition is a celebration of the creativity, energy, ambition and achievement of all graduating design students, and represents the culmination of several years of learning and creative development.
Student works will engage audiences with bold, ‘out of the box’ thinking and fresh approaches to graphic design: typography, letterpress, advertising, branding, animation, photography, posters, ski graphics, packaging design and magazines – just to name a few.
