ART ICULATE 2010 Watt Space Open Show
Curated by David Hampton, Amy Hill and Rebecca Holmes
The theme for the 2010 Watt Space Open Show is ART ICULATE and the curators pose the question:
WHY MAKE ART?
Students at the University of Newcastle are invited to ART ICULATE why they do what they do.
Eleven local and national businesses have donated prizes which will be awarded to the artworks that the judges felt were the most resolved of those submitted.
This year’s judging panel consists of artist Belinda Howden, former student of the University of Newcastle and member of the 2007 Watt Space Committee, Carl Morgan, curator and one half of Newcastle design studio Zookraft and Lauren Van Katwyk, Education Co-ordinator at Maitland Regional Art Gallery and previous Watt Space exhibitor.
