Pull My Finger: An exhibition of Humour in Art is an open show of funny, silly, wise-cracking, side-splitting, laugh till a little bit of wee comes out Art. It is about having art being fun and comic and sometimes just a little laughable. Curated by Bree Cunningham with all works by students of the University of Newcastle.

Should an artist, who is striving for a very different outcome than a scientist or medical researcher, be bound by the same codes of ethics as those working professionally in those fields?

What are the eventualities of unrestrained creativity combined with the means to achieve? And why are we compelled to continue to explore the limits of human mutation?

Trine Deans and Stewart Falconer - The Hoist

Stewart Falconer and Trine Deans explore the importance and freedom of the one-line continuous drawing method presented in a graphic collage styled installation: One line, continuous. This drawing installation covers every inch of The Hoist in a giant collage of one line continuous drawings to create the feeling of walking into an open splayed artist's sketch book.
