Studies in Research:
Evaluation, Impact and Training (SIR)

SIR is an international double-blind peer reviewed electronic journal providing an outlet for reports of interest to researchers and practitioners in the broad areas of research, research training, evaluation and impact. Contributions to the journal may cover reports of empirical, theoretical and review papers and book reviews that have implications for research theory and practice. Brief reports may be submitted. The Editors may on occasion invite papers for a special thematic issue.

As an electronic journal, the Editorial Board hopes to provide an opportunity for the rapid dissemination of research and scholarship. Articles accepted for publication in SIR will be placed online as they are accepted. Readers will also have the opportunity to engage in public or private discussion at the point of publication, thus enhancing the possibility for scholarly discourse and exchange. It is the hope of the editors that the journal will provide a forum not only for the dissemination of research, but also an active forum for constructive criticism and debate.
