Mission

New Media Poetics is a journal of theory and practice.

It is concerned with the work of many communities of artists, communicators, designers, activists and academics.

Its approach is historical, analytical, critical, propositional, practical and political.

All media objects are presumed to:

  • exist in time - historical
  • be open to comparison - analytical
  • be open to alteration - critical
  • be in process - propositional
  • be constructed - practical and
  • be in some crucial way determinate - political.
