2008 Newton-John Award: for a graduate who has improved the Hunter and Newcastle community through innovation and creative excellence.
2008 Convocation Medal for Professional Excellence: for a graduate with an outstanding professional record in leadership and/or advancement of knowledge or professional practice within the national and/or international community.
