What are UoN Prep Bridging courses?

UoN Prep Bridging courses are designed to improve your academic skills and refresh your knowledge in key subject areas while also giving you an insight into the expectations of university study.

Who can enrol in UoN Prep Bridging courses?

Once you have accepted an offer to study an undergraduate degree or a foundation studies program at the University of Newcastle, you can enrol in one or more of our UoN Prep Bridging courses. The UoN Prep Bridging courses are also open to other students who would like to re-fresh their skills in a particular subject.

What is the duration of a UoN Prep Bridging course?

Most courses run for 15 hours across one week. The Computing courses and Mathematics for Engineering are 6 hour courses.

What does it cost?

There are no costs associated with the UoN Prep bridging courses.

Where can I study the UoN Prep Bridging courses?

The UoN Prep courses are available at Newcastle campus (Callaghan), Central Coast campus (Ourimbah) and Port Macquarie.

Are there any online courses?
