Applications are now open for Semester 2, 2016!
On-campus accommodation is a popular choice for UON students and we encourage you to get in quickly to avoid disappointment. To be eligible to live on-campus from semester 2, applicants must be enrolled as a full or part-time student at the University of Newcastle. Domestic students must be aged 18 or will turn 18 in their first calendar year on campus and international students must be aged 18 to apply.
Our residents form a close-knit community, and mid-year applicants are encouraged to get involved with our ResLife programs and enhance their on-campus experience. A comprehensive list of the ResLife programs and events can be found here. Mid-year applicants are a welcome addition to the friendly intercollegiate competition on-campus and are also invited to attend the ResFest orientation with the rest of their inclusive on-campus community.

Where can I live?
Find your kind of people as Student Living now offers a Living Environment Preference to ensure like-minded residents are grouped together to support our diverse residential community. Residents are welcome to live in our general areas or they can choose to preference gender, lifestyle, alcohol-free, mature-age and spaces for students studying Honours or higher-research degrees. Please note that these preferences are subject to availability.
