Tom Farrell 2013 World Café Series

The Tom Farrell Institute will continue hosting monthly World Café Series in 2013 to discuss sustainability issues with stakeholders across different disciplines and sectors.

The World Café forum is an informal setting where up to 30 ‘knowledge holders’ are invited to attend each event. The format allows for creative thinking and is designed to generate discussion and ideas around sustainable solutions for the Hunter.

The first TFI World Café event was held last November in the Industry Development Centre (IDC) building on campus with at least 20 events planned for 2013 in the same venue.

The next World Café will focus on Sustainable aquaculture in modified landscapes of the upper Hunter, taking place on Wednesday February 20th from 3-5pm in the IDC Atrium.

TFI aims to use the outcomes from each World Café to develop synergies and to inform planning and investment.
