Faculty staff awarded a VC's Citation

Two Faculty staff members have been rewarded for their contribution to student learning.

Dr Andrea Griffin from the School of Psychology and Dr Costas Stathopoulos from the School of Environmental and Life Sciences have been awarded a Vice-Chancellor's Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.

The awards recognise individuals or teams who make a significant contribution to the quality of student learning in a specific area.

Dr Griffin has spent the last three years reviewing the Psychology course PSYC3301 by taking on board student feedback and issues, which has resulted in successfully re-modelling the course and resources.

Dr Stathopoulos teaches three courses within the Bachelor of Food Science and Human Nutrition. He has adopted responsive practices and developed modern curricula in the program that enhances the individual development of students.

Dr Griffin and Dr Stathopoulos will receive their certificates at the Vice-Chancellor’s Award Ceremony being held on Monday December 10, 2012.
