Suggested PATHWAYS
Our degree programs can take you many places, and sometimes choosing the courses to match your career objectives can be overwhelming. So while the Program Handbook gives you the full list of options and Program Convenors are always available to assist, we have developed a range of Suggested Pathways documents that give examples of programs and courses that would prepare students for particular careers in the areas of:
- Biotechnology
- Communication
- Design and Natural History Illustration
- Development Studies
- Environmental Science
- Exercise and Sports Science
- Information Technology
- Mathematics
- Psychology
- Science (BSc)
These examples are not the only set of courses that will take you to a particular career, and students are strongly encouraged to consult about alternatives and tailor their optional courses to suit them as individuals. Notes about Compulsory and Strongly Recommended courses are included where necessary to assist with this process.
For each degree program, Program Enrolment Checklists are located on your Program Handbook page to help track your progress and ensure you are meeting the requirements of the program and your chosen major(s).
The Careers Service at the University provides a free and confidential service to all students and graduates of the University. Staff are available to assist with a range of comprehensive careers and employment information and advice about careers, study and employment.
