Teaching & Learning Committee

The Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee (FT&LC) reports to and advises the Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology. It is chaired by the Assistant Dean Teaching & Learning, includes representatives from each School and is supported by the Faculty Teaching & Learning Officer.

FT&LC oversees the process of changes to all new and revised courses and programs, and

  • scrutinises program and course proposals and may request revisions before making recommendation to Faculty Board;
  • advises on Teaching & Learning policies and procedures;
  • manages and advises on annual course development funding;
  • manages and advises on annual Carrick Institute Citations.
