Faculty Governance
Faculty Board
The governing body of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology is the Faculty Board. The Board comprises the following membership:
- Vice Chancellor
- Pro Vice-Chancellor
- Faculty Deputy Head
- Faculty Heads of Schools
- Faculty Assistant Deans
- Assistant Registrar
- Faculty Executive Officer
- Three academic staff members from each Faculty School
- No less than three students, one of whom shall be a research postgraduate student; one of whom shall be a coursework postgraduate student; and one of whom shall be an undergraduate student
- Such number of persons from categories of persons from within or external to the University as may be recommended by the Faculty Board, and approved by the Academic Senate
