Faculty Progress and Appeals Committee

Meetings are scheduled as necessary, normally in January/February and July/August. Please contact Krystine Avery, the Committee Secretary, for further information.
Under the Rules Governing Faculties (Rule 000305), Clause 16.2 states that the Faculty Progress and Appeals Committee shall have responsibility for matters referred to it:
16.2.1 under the Review of Progress Procedure;
16.2.2 under the Appeals Against a Final Result Procedure;
16.2.3 under the Special Circumstances Affecting Assessment Items Procedure; and
16.2.4 any other student progress or appeals issues forwarded to it by the Pro Vice Chancellor, in such cases the Committee shall advise the Pro Vice-Chancellor on an appropriate course of action.
