Faculty Governance

Faculty Board

The governing body of the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment is the Faculty Board. The Board comprises the following membership:

• Vice-Chancellor
• Pro Vice-Chancellor
• Faculty Deputy Head
• Faculty Heads of Schools
• Faculty Assistant Deans
• Assistant Academic Registrar
• Faculty Executive Officer
• Three Academic Senate members from each Faculty School
• Three members of Academic Staff from each Faculty School
• One School Faculty Executive Officer
• No less than three students, one of whom shall be a research postgraduate student; one of whom shall be a coursework postgraduate student; and one of whom shall be an undergraduate student
• Such number of persons from categories of persons from within or external to the University as may be recommended by the Faculty Board, and approved by the Academic Senate
