Recent Faculty Achievements
- Congratulations to Conjoint Dr Christopher Pollnitz, whose new addition to the Cambridge University Press series on the works of poet DH Lawrence, The Poems, has been published. This 2-volume set is the final part of CUB's mammoth 40-volume edition of Lawrence's Letters and Works.
- Eleven Fine Art students have been accepted to attend the IEU AIM short course program in the July semester break in Europe. The 3-week course, Rome Architectural Sketchbook, will see the students living in Rome and using the historical buildings of the city as source material for their drawing.
- Dr Stephanie Bengtsson, from the School of Education, organised 'The International Symposium on Education, Fragility and Conflict' held between 8 - 9 April in Paris. This symposium was a joint initiative of the University of Newcastle, the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po, and the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) Working Group on Education and Fragility.
