International Collaboration at its Best
The International Space Time Concerto Competition concerts were an amazing display of innovation and creativity in a world-first concert experience with finalists vying for a share of $50,000 in prize money.
The first concert, held on Friday, 30 November showcased the Networked Music Performance finalists with an internet-linked ensemble performing from various locations around the world. The second concert, held on Sunday 2 December witnessed an amazing hybrid of traditional forms of concerto running alongside contemporary finalists.
The professional staff in the School of Creative Arts played a significant role as the Project Support team in working in collaboration with Richard Vella (Artistic Director) and Tracy Redhead (Project Manager) to make this event a huge success.
The members of the Project Support team were: Kirrily Hull, Julie Duncan, Barry Nancarrow, Anthony Line, Kaitlyn Bowman, Jamie Metzger, Michael Cowen and Sue Butterworth. Congratulations to all on a great event.
