Students Photography Captures Last Newcastle Wool Auction

After many years, the last wool auction in Newcastle was held on 26 February 2013. The Australian Wool Network generously invited students enrolled in Photomedia to document the event. A recent exhibition at Watt Space Gallery in Newcastle showcased the visual archive that resulted.

The students used photography, video and animation to portray their individual responses to the people, environment and atmosphere of the final auction in Newcastle.
