Teaching Ideas Platform - TIP

Welcome to the Teaching Ideas Platform (TIP) - A resource for all Lecturers, Sessional Lecturers and Tutors.

This site is designed for lecturers and tutors, especially those who are new to the University and are looking for ideas for teaching and an easy way to find policies, resources and contacts.

TIP employs a range of engaging activities such as:

• Video viewing and critical discussion of a particular learning and teaching theme
• Practical ideas and classroom tips

About TIP

The site was compiled by Chantal Parslow with funding from the Faculty of Business and Law, Teaching and Learning Committee. A major component of the site is adapted from the 'Teaching Induction Program' developed by the Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University with the assistance of an ALTC grant. Resources have also been borrowed from 'Steps to Teaching Success' compiled by the Faculty of Commerce and Administration at Victoria University, Wellington, NZ. We acknowledge and thank these institutions for their permission to use their materials.
