Industry Alliances
The mutual benefits of industry engagement and partnerships cannot be overstated. By engaging regional industry and forging strong partnerships, the Faculty of Business and Law continues to build an essential pathway that is mutually beneficial to private, public and third sector related industries as well as to our students and the Faculty itself.
Our alliances with industry are also an intrinsic part of the Faculty's teaching and learning and research goals. When strong industry alliances are formed, both students and the Faculty benefit, as well as industry itself from access to the expertise and resources that each group has to offer.
Some of the ways we nurture and build our industry alliances include:
- maintaining opportunities for engagement that will facilitate relationships with industry including the development of research partnerships eg CIOS
- Continuing to monitor the needs of external stakeholders by conducting appropriate research to assess the needs of industry
- Providing industry access to Faculty of Business and Law students and graduates
- Rewarding staff and student excellence in industry engagement
