Scholarships

The Faculty of Business and Law have many donor funded scholarships that support both undergraduate and postgraduate students through their studies. Below is a list of scholarships specifically targeting students within this Faculty. There are also several scholarships open students across the university that students should also consider that are listed within the general scholarships pages of the University.

Dr Geoffrey Leonard Scholarship Dr Geoffrey Leonard $2,000 x 1 for 1 year commencing student enrolled in a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce or a Combined Degree, where both degrees are offered in the Faculty of Business and Law 31 March
Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association Scholarship Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association $2,500 x 2 for I year enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws program or any combined degree which incorporates a Bachelor of Law 31 March
Hunter Valley Law Society Undergraduate Scholarship Hunter Valley Law Society $2,000 x 1 for 1 year enrolled in final year in the Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice degree undertaking the professional program component of the program with the intention of practising law 31 March
Ken Gordon Memorial Honours Scholarship Friends of the University $1,100 x 1 for I year enrolled in an Honours program in the Faculty of Business and Law 31 March
LWM Group Scholarship LWM Group $1,000 x 1 for 1 year enrolled in an Honours program in the Faculty of Business and Law 31 March
Port Waratah Coal Services Limited Undergraduate Scholarships Port Waratah Coal Services Limited $7,000 x 2 for 1 year first year of your first undergraduate degree in any program studying any of the Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resource and Industrial Relations Disciplines. 28 February
Robin McDonald Memorial Scholarship Hunter Valley Research Foundation $5,000 x 1 for 1 year Honours or Postgraduate program within either the Newcastle Business School, School of Environmental and Life Sciences, School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences or School of Design, Communication and Information Technology. 31 May
