2013 Prize Giving Ceremony

On Tuesday 04 June 2013, the Faculty of Business and Law welcomed approx. 290 students, academics, donors, family and friends to the Faculty's Annual Prize Giving Ceremony.

The Prize Giving Ceremony is a celebration of scholarly success, recognising the successful scholarship recipients, and outstanding performances of the Faculty's students in their 2012 academic programs.

Prizes are awarded for high academic performance, some having been established to remember a valued person while others have been created by local and national businesses and organisations to encourage students in particular areas of study. All prizes are valued by the Faculty as a statement of support for its students and by the recipient, not only for the monetary value, but also for the recognition it offers for their achievement.

We were pleased to welcome many of our prize donors who attended to present prizes and scholarships. Their attendance highlights the community's commitment to academic excellence. The Faculty acknowledges the generosity of all our donors.

Our congratulations go to all our recipients on their awards and their academic achievements and our heartfelt thanks to the Donors who make this award's night possible.
