In May the Faculty of Business and Law will be hosting its first Distinguished International Visiting Academic Dinner. These dinners will be a forum for regional industry leaders and Faculty academics to gather and share their expertise in their respective fields.
Each dinner will be focused on a particular area of expertise of the Faculty. The focus area for this year will be Marketing.
As part of the focus on Marketing, the Faculty is pleased to announce that Professor Christian Grönroos from Hanken University, Finland will be the keynote speaker at the DIVA Dinner.
Professor Christian Grönroos is an internationally renowned Finnish academic, who has been the pioneer in the field of service management and marketing. Recently, he was commended as a "Legend in Marketing", the first outside North America. As a result his research will be compiled and featured in the forthcoming "Legends in Marketing" series published by Sage Publications. Professor Grönroos continues to contribute his knowledge to advance marketing theory. His continuing contribution is evident in his recent publication, "Critical service logic: making sense of value creation and co-creation", in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.
