The 2010 Faculty Research Showcase

The 2010 Faculty Research Showcase was an outstanding success with 49 student and staff projects displayed and over 80 people in attendance, including industry representatives. The research projects, displayed as posters, were an insight to the exciting and diverse research currently being undertaken by faculty staff and RHD students.

The winner of the Best RHD poster award was Mohammad Rahman, a PhD (Management) candidate with his project "Impact of the Network on Firms' Export Performance: Network and Non-Network Firms' Export Performance Amongst Australian SMEs" . Mohammad's supervisors are Professor Amir Mahmood and Dr Frank Agbola.

The winner of the 2010 People's Choice Award was PhD(Management) candidate, Kate Coates and her humorous poster titled "PhD Snakes and Ladders". Kate's PhD research is "Resilience Through Turbulance: An Examination of the Role of Leadership, Culture and Systems in Building Resilience in Organisations Subject to Turbulence and Large Scale Change. A Longitudinal Case Study in the Power Generation Industry" and her supervisors are Professor John Burgess and Dr Jennifer Waterhouse.

The 2010 Research Showcase was proudly supported by the Centre for Institutional and Organisational Studies (CIOS).
