2012 Prize Giving Ceremony
On Monday 21 May 2012, the Faculty of Business and Law welcomed over 260 students, academics, donors, family and friends to the Faculty's Annual Prize Giving Ceremony.
The Prize Giving Ceremony is a celebration of scholarly success, recognising the outstanding performances of the Faculty's students in their 2011 academic programs and successful scholarship recipients.
Prizes are awarded for high academic performance, some having been established to remember a valued person while others have been created by local and national businesses and organisations to encourage students in particular areas of study. All prizes are valued by the Faculty as a statement of support for its students and by the recipient, not only for the monetary value, but also for the recognition it offers for their achievement.
We were pleased to welcome many of our prize donors who attended to present prizes and scholarships. Their attendance highlights the community's commitment to academic excellence. The Faculty acknowledges the generosity of all our donors.
Our congratulations go to all our recipients on their awards and their academic achievements.
