About the Faculty

Welcome to the Faculty of Business and Law - an innovative and dynamic research-intensive Faculty that 'makes a difference' by creating new knowledge, offering innovative degrees, and preparing our students for global citizenship.

Our Mission

In collaboration with our external partners and stakeholders, the Faculty of Business and Law strives to make a difference by creating new knowledge, preparing our students for global citizenship, and contributing to social, political and economic progress of Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

In order to make a difference, the core values in which we believe are:

  • the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake, sought with the highest level of ethical integrity and academic honesty
  • preparing students for global citizenship and life-long learning through research-led and student-centred teaching and learning
  • a work environment based on collegiality, openness, transparency, inclusiveness and equity in decision-making, administration, scholarship and teaching in which staff can attain their full potential

Our Students

Within a supportive learning environment, our teaching and learning is research-led and student-centred, with a commitment to the life-long discovery of knowledge.
