The University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) and Rural Clinical School (RCS), is a collaborative project between the University of Newcastle and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. Additionally, the UDRH has strong strategic alliances with the University of New England and Hunter New England Area Health.

• University of Newcastle
  The University of Newcastle has made significant achievements in its 35 year history. It has established itself as one of the country's top research universities and the quality of that research is recognised both in Australia and internationally. Our staff are also world leaders in problem-based learning, an approach to teaching and learning that is explained in detail elsewhere on this site. The University of Newcastle is a great place to study and an exciting place in which to teach and to carry out research.

• Hunter New England Health
  The Hunter New England Health was created on 1 January 2005, following the merger between Hunter, New England and the Lower Mid North Coast local government areas of Gloucester, Greater Taree City and Great Lakes.

  

• Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing
  The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing pursues the achievement of the portfolio outcomes in association with other agencies in the portfolio: the Health Insurance Commission, the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, the Private Health Insurance Administration Council, the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman, the Professional Services Review Scheme, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand, the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority.

• The University of New England
  The University of New England was the first Australian university established outside a capital city. With a history extending back to the 1920s, UNE has a well-earned reputation as one of Australia's great teaching, training and research universities.
