UDRH / RCS
Welcome to the University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) and the Rural Clinical School (RCS). The UDRH and RCS has made it possible for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying either medicine, nursing, nutrition and dietetics, medical radiation science, physiotherapy, oral health, podiatry, occupational therapy, and pharmacy at The University of Newcastle to complete a large part of their education and training in a rural setting at one of our four locations Tamworth, Armidale, Taree, or Moree.

Exceptional Growth in Taree
The UDRH and RCS in Taree are growing so rapidly that they have outgrown the building they moved to just one year ago. Fortunately, Dr. Alan Pedersen, Senior Lecturer – Medicine and Daryl Newell, Administration Officer managed to locate some additional space. Effective from the 1st August, the UDRH and RCS staff and students will have access to three tutorial rooms conveniently located across the road from their present location in Commerce St Taree. It is hoped that this will help them through their accommodation crisis. moreWelcome dinner at Pedro's Cantina in Tamworth
