Women in Engineering It is widely recognized that women make great engineers and construction managers and companies are very keen to employ them. Women can bring a refreshingly different perspective to the job.

There are thousands of female engineers and construction managers doing a job they love, a job they find intellectually stimulating and challenging.

The Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment actively promotes the need for cultural change it recognises and values diversity both in the student population and the work environment. Activities are regularly organised from Orientation Day through to your final year.
