Scholarships

There is a wide variety of scholarships available to students, both offered through the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment and at University level. These include the International Student Scholarships, UNISS, Scholarships for Continuing Undergraduate Students, Honours Scholarships and Research Higher Degrees scholarships as detailed below.

International Student Scholarships

This scholarship has been newly established to encourage international students to study a full-time undergraduate or pre-professional program at the Callaghan Campus.
A total of 18 scholarships are available covering an extensive array of educational study programs within Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture and Construction Management.
Each scholarship provides the payment of 25% of the cost of a full year study fee, and is tenable for up to 5 years of full-time study (subject to continuing satisfactory academic progress).

The University of Newcastle Industry Scholarship Scheme offers an integrated scholarship program which combines degree studies with industry experience, together with financial support throughout your program.

Scholarships for Continuing Undergraduate Students

The Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment has the following four scholarships specifically for continuing students:

Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Advanced Composite Structures Ltd (ACS) Final Year Scholarship
Eric Parker Memorial Scholarship in Architecture
Hunter Environmental Institute Undergraduate Scholarship

Honours Scholarships
