Strategies for CRC Participation and Leadership

Professor Tony Peacock, Chief Executive of the CRC Association and Professor Robert van Barneveld, Consultant Research Scientist at Barneveld Nutrition, will present to University researchers and staff members to impart their knowledge of the CRC bid process.
Professor Peacock will give a presentation entitled "What makes a great CRC?" followed by Professor van Barneveld's presentation "How to win a CRC (or not)".
This presentation will be extremely valuable for anyone wishing to participate in or lead a CRC.

Tony Peacock is the Chief Executive of the Cooperative Research Centres Association. From 2001 to 2010 he was CEO of the Pest Animal Control CRC and the Invasive Animals CRC. Previously he was Managing Director and Research Manager of the Pig R&D Corporation. He was a researcher at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Melbourne.
Tony is affiliated with several conservation organisations – the Capital Woodlands and Wetlands Trust, the Mulligans Flat Woodlands Sanctuary and the Canberra Indian Myna Action Group. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra.
Professor Robert van Barneveld
Professor Robert van Barneveld holds a range of positions within the pork industry and other primary production sectors. Prof van Barneveld is a Non-Executive Director of the Ridley Corporation, a Specialist Director of Australian Pork Limited, Chairman of Porkscan Pty Ltd, AQCOM Pty Ltd and Autism Australia Pty Ltd, a Director of Barneveld Nutrition Pty Ltd, the BECAN Consulting Group Pty Ltd, and is President of the Board of Management of Autism Queensland Inc.
In addition to working as a consultant research scientist and nutritionist, Prof van Barneveld acts as General Manager of the CHM Alliance Pty Ltd.
