Orientation to Supervision (Ourimbah)
This workshop is presented by the Dean of Graduate Studies, Associate Professor Andrew Abbo and provides guidance on RHD supervision policy, practice and process at the University of Newcastle to ensure that supervisors of RHD candidates approach their duties fully informed of the services available to support them and their students and to promote excellence and effectiveness in supervision.
This workshop is recommended for those with relevant academic
appointments who are eligible to be RHD supervisors and who are not
current RHD candidates themselves. The Orientation to RHD
Supervision workshop is strongly recommended for all RHD supervisors who
have not previously attended the workshop, are new to supervision or
new to the University of Newcastle.
