Description

The Macquarie and Newcastle Universities' Humanities Postgraduate Symposium

Human/Nonhuman/Inhuman/Posthuman

You're invited!

NewMac is an inter-disciplinary Humanities RHD conference run by postgrads for postgrads.

Because postgraduate research is often an isolated and lonely pursuit NewMac provides a valuable opportunity for inter-disciplinary networking and trans-institutional cross-pollination of ideas.  It endeavours to foster a sense of collegiality across both disciplines and universities and this year we have presenters coming from five universities.

It's shaping up to be a great day with some fascinating research being shared across disciplines such as Law, Music, Drama, English, Creative Writing, History, International Studies, Ancient History, Politics, Philosophy, Education, Theology, Cultural Studies, Media, Media and Communications (Digital Sociology).

When: Saturday 22nd  February 2014

Where: University of Newcastle GP Building

Cost: $15, includes morning tea and lunch.

Registration form can be found on our Facebook page.
