CTNMH Post Graduate Day Conference

This event was held on Wednesday 4 December 2013

Centre for Translational Neuroscience and Mental Health

Staff and Students of the PRC for Translational Neuroscience and Mental Health are invited to attend the

Priority Research Centre for Translational Neuroscience and Mental Health’s Sixth Annual Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Conference

The conference will be held on Wednesday 4th December 2013 in the Aviation Building on the Callaghan campus.

This event will consist of oral and poster presentations from you and your postgraduate and postdoctoral colleagues across the PRC. Lunch (BBQ) and light refreshments will be provided during the day.

This is the first call for abstracts. The deadline for Abstract submission and registration is 4pm, Friday 1st November 2013. Please see the attached template for abstract submission. You may indicate whether you prefer an oral or poster presentation; every effort will be made to meet your preference but we can offer no guarantees that preferences will be met. Platform presentations will be 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions. Posters are to be in a 1mx1.5m format.

New graduate students who do not yet have data are encouraged to present posters outlining their proposed research design and any preliminary or pilot results. In such cases the abstract format guidelines should be varied as required.

We remind all RHD students from the School of Psychology that this conference enables you to fulfil the requirement of at least one presentation per year to the School (either at this conference or in Colloquium). Coursework postgraduate students from the School of Psychology are not required to present at the conference; however, we strongly encourage you to present and/or attend the day. The opportunity to present at this conference will also provide invaluable practice for those who plan to attend national or international conferences in the near future.

For further information, or to submit your abstract, and to RSVP your attendance and food requirements (i.e., vegetarian, gluten-free etc) please contact Annalese.Johnson@hnehealth.nsw.gov.au
