The Sociology and Anthropology Seminar Series, hosted by the School of Humanities and Social Science, is designed to showcase the exciting social science research being conducted by staff and PhD students across the University of Newcastle.
It also regularly brings high profile social scientists from other institutions to Newcastle to present their latest work.

The next Sociology and Anthropology Seminar will be presented by Vanessa Bowden - a PhD Candidate in the School of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Newcastle.
Bowden's seminar topic is: 'All I Know is that I Don't Know Nothing' – The Dissolution of Trust in Science and its Implications for Climate Change.
