France Immersion

The Faculty of Business and Law, in conjunction with the Department of Education and Training through Endeavour Project funding, has organised a 16 day, fully escorted France Immersion Experience at the end of Semester 2, 2016.

The project will focus on French culture and creating work ready graduates that understand contemporary trends and practices in European business. Participation will include formal lectures and information sessions prior to departure, lectures at partner institution in Dijon, lectures and debriefing upon return to Newcastle and the completion of several assessment items.

The objective of the course is to provide ten 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce students with an opportunity to participate in a short-term study experience in International Marketing and Cross Cultural Management at the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France.

Applications will be evaluated based on a combination of grade point average (GPA) and the submission of an expression of interest, outlining how the tour will benefit your studies and your future career.
