The power of reflecting on educational practice – the HERDSA Fellowship

This event was held on Wednesday 29 June 2016

The power of reflecting on educational practice – the HERDSA Fellowship University of Newcastle, Australia.

Do you want to improve the quality of your education practice? Would you like an opportunity to be part of a vibrant national community of teaching practitioners and researchers? Would you like national recognition for your achievements in education practice for career advancement?

If so, then maybe you would like to apply for a HERDSA (Higher Education Research & Development Society of Australasia) Fellowship. The HERDSA Fellowship Scheme is for leaders (academic or professional staff) who have made a significant commitment to the improvement of teaching and learning in tertiary education.

Dr Liam Phelan will share his experience of applying for a Fellowship and Viv McComb will outline what support is available from The Centre for Teaching and Learning to those who wish to apply. There’ll be just as much in this COI presentation for those who are thinking about applying for other teaching awards or promotions too.

The lecture is being hosted by The Community of Interest for Online Teaching, Learning and Research in conjunction with GradSchool.
