The University holds many treasures that have been donated for the benefit of our students, staff and community and are collected and maintained for sharing with future generations.
This exhibition acknowledges the generosity of those who give to enrich the lives of others. From rare books and butterflies to artwork from Australia's most acclaimed artists, this exhibition will profile 50 such donations that captivate and enhance our working and learning environment.
The University Gallery is open from 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday and 12 to 4pm on Saturday.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
